Security is a regulated industry, and the paperwork behind a contract matters as much as the officers on site. This page sets out how Wint Security Group Ltd meets its obligations, and what evidence we provide.
Licensing
All officers deployed by Wint Security Group Ltd hold a current Security Industry Authority licence for the role they are performing. Licence numbers are supplied to the client before deployment and can be verified directly through the SIA public register.
Where a role requires a specific licence category, such as Close Protection or Door Supervision, we deploy only officers holding that category.
Vetting and recruitment
All officers provide proof of identity and right to work in the United Kingdom before deployment, along with a verifiable employment history.
TO CONFIRM: state your screening standard here. If you screen to BS 7858, say so and describe what it covers. If not, describe what you actually do. Add your DBS position, including the level and which roles it applies to.
Insurance
TO CONFIRM: list the policies held and the level of cover. Typically public liability, employers’ liability, which is a legal requirement once you employ anyone, and professional indemnity. Certificates available on request.
Accreditations
TO CONFIRM: list only accreditations actually held, such as the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, Safe Contractor or CHAS. If none are held yet, delete this whole section rather than leaving it empty.

Data protection
We process personal data relating to our officers, our clients and, where CCTV or access control is involved, members of the public. That processing is carried out in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Requesting evidence
Licensing records, insurance certificates, policy documents and vetting evidence are provided at the start of every contract, and at any point on request. Contact us and we will send them the same working day.
